Public Transport to Optus Stadium

Use the Transperth JourneyPlanner to plan your journey

The Stadium precinct includes a purpose built train and bus station to accommodate large crowds attending events at Optus Stadium.

Getting here on an event day...

Catch the train to Perth Stadium Station
Trains travel direct to Perth Stadium Station for passengers on the Joondalup, Fremantle and Armadale Lines. Passengers on the Midland Line can choose to walk over the Windan Bridge to East Perth Station.

Catch the bus to Perth Stadium Bus Station
The suburban event bus network, as well as Perth CBD shuttles stop at Perth Stadium Bus Station.

Major Event Day Bus Routes:

Please note that the Suburban Event Bus Network does not operate before weekday matches, as Transperth does not have the capacity to operate these services on weekdays during peak periods.

Instead you will need to catch a regular timetabled bus to the city, where you can transfer to a train to Perth Stadium Station.

Additionally if you normally catch the Joondalup or Fremantle lines direct to Perth Stadium Station you will need to transfer trains in Perth.

The Suburban Event Bus Network will however run for 45 Minutes after the final siren.

Getting here on a non-event day...

Catch the train to Perth Stadium Station
Armadale Line trains stop at Perth Stadium Station all day Saturday, Sunday and on Public Holidays.

Catch the bus to Matagarup Bridge
Passengers can walk over Matagarup Bridge to get to the Stadium.

Bus options include the free CAT bus services with the Yellow CAT service stopping nearby the stadium and the Red CAT service to extend the current route to stop at Matagarup Bridge from December.
