Manchester United delighted 105,000 football fans at Optus Stadium
After a ten day pre-season tour, Manchester United left Perth in the best possible way, with two wins, delighting 105,000 football fans at Optus Stadium and also getting hours of training at the WACA Ground under their belt in readiness for their new season.
Tonight, Perth experienced one of the fiercest rivalries in English football between @ManUtd and @LUFC ⚽️ The teams battled it out on Aussie soil with Manchester United taking home the win 4-0.

The sun shone throughout the entire Tour and Perth turned red to celebrate the world’s biggest sporting team’s presence in town.

The two matches attracted over 21,000 visitors from regional WA, interstate and overseas who came to support Manchester United, fierce rivals Leeds United and local A-League Premiers Perth Glory.
Thousands of fans also enjoyed events outside of the two matches, meeting Manchester United and Leeds United Legends, a golf day, open training sessions and more.
