This is an evening is a must-attend for all true Villa fans ahead of their match against Manchester United on Saturday, July 23.

Part of ICON’s More than a Match program, An Evening with Aston Villa will be held in Optus Stadium’s stunning River View Room, which overlooks the Swan River and Perth CBD, on Thursday, July 21.

During this exclusive event, you’ll hear from Premier League legend Steven Gerrard about how the Villans are preparing for the upcoming season.

Gerrard is beginning his second season as Aston Villa Manager, following a 17 year career in the Premier League with Liverpool where he won a Champions League and two FA Cups, and appeared 114 times for England.

Purslow has been CEO of the Lions since 2018 following stints at Liverpool and Chelsea. During his time at the Aston Villa he has overseen the club’s return to the Premier League after three seasons in the Championship.
